colors and music of a land yet to be discovered ...

"I remember Dublin City, in a rare old time " - Irish folk song

Ireland ... The first feeling that comes to mind hearing this name is nostalgia, longing for those wonderful emerald moors and lonely, for the cliffs overlooking the ocean, talkative and friendly to people, to the ruined castles on top of a cliff by the damp wind caressed the Atlantic, for those fantastic colors, shining so bright, but constantly to the incessant rain for the music coming out from every corner of the road ... And yet, before leaving, the word associated with this name was another, more simple and immediate: Beer! (Guinness or if you prefer).

The idea of \u200b\u200bstarting for Ireland whipped us in the lead for quite some time. Eventually it was decided as a destination for well-deserved (?) Post-holiday state exam. Four fearless young men were determined to celebrate the fact of maturity in the best way: two weeks for a stroll on the picturesque island of Erin, with stops still to make food supply but, especially, drink. The idea was crazy, for once we would not be looking to us for the pub, but it was the pub that he would find us ...
In fact things went so very different ...

And so we took our trip. Departure from Pisa, with a stopover in London, hurried return air, and then off to Dublin (exactly one year after it was opened a direct flight flights Dublin-Pisa, the usual bad luck). Journey
two weeks. To facilitate the display of the route that we made I made use of our powerful means (and a good dose of patience!), Coloring the different stages of our journey described in the next post in a different way.
In red: the Dublin area (including Glendalought and Powerscourt)
In blue: Kilkenny, Limerick and Rock Of Cashel
In green: Galway and the Aran Islands
In yellow: Cliff Of Moher and Connemara
In rock: see a couple of More posts down!
Of course I do not think that this order will be fulfilled: on one side of things to say because there are very many (one post would be too simplistic to Dublin!), the other because I had thought to add some curiosity, especially as regards music and its history.
The only advice I can give you before you travel is as follows: buy a bell'impermiabile, you really need it!

PS Since we are on the subject, I wanted to say a few lines to wish my dear friend Mark's a good trip and a pleasant stay for your stay in Australia, with a little advice: Watch out for kangaroos!
