I Shall Wear Midnight

I Shall Wear Midnight is the fourth novel written by Tiffany Aching Discworld series Terry Pratchett, the publication is scheduled for early September 2010.

On October 1, 2009 in an update on the website of Paul Kidby, Pratchett said that "the shift of I Shall Wear Midnight are quick."

The book, like its three predecessors, will focus on a young witch named Tiffany Aching. The title is mentioned in the book "The Art of Pratchett's Discworld and is also a quote from A Hat Full of Stars:" When I'm Old I Shall Wear Midnight, She'd Decided. But for now She'd Had Enough of Darkness.. " The title is

loosely based on the poem "When I am an Old Woman I Shall Wear Purple" by Jenny Joseph.Questo is the title that most people recognize, but it is interesting to note that the correct title for his poem "Warning." Despite a superficial similarity, there is no evidence to link the two works.

In an interview with the Guardian Book Club, Pratchett has pointed out that the book is an urban fantasy. For example, the book offers an urban witch, who does not love the country and whose magic has to do with the city.
