Elio e le Storie Tese: live in Montale
return from a landmark concert in Montale!
What can I say? It 's the second time I attended a concert by Elio e le Storie Tese, and each time is a new discovery and fun!
Elio & company What are the musicians prim 'order I think it is beyond question. What they are fun to see and hear well. But the best thing is that all times are able to invent something new! But let
to order ...
Montale, July 4, 2008. After one full year are ready for the new concert tour. You are a bit ' wait on stage, but it does not matter, because already salivating is rising after having seen the Yamaha trb 6 parked on its pedestal, positioned (no coincidence!) Just twenty meters in front of me. The crowd roars, there was a bustle of technicians according the same guitar at least six times (I say, but they were doing? Forgot the One and the other the retuned? Mah!). Testing of microphones okay. It lowered the lights and background music. It starts now! Here come the musicians, who show off some beautiful clothes type of theater people early nineteenth century. Few lines, leaving all the space to the music!
nice surprise on stage: first, the Yamaha trb 6 (I had already said? Patience!) And of course one who plays it, the mythical Faso. Then the return of Rocco tank, but is replaced by an alien extraterrestrial Aleppo, the planet ì (ì we read). The presence of a woman's voice really evocative (Paola Folli), a saxophonist (Daniele Comoglio) and a trumpeter (Davide Ghidoni), and of course to Caesar (guitar), Jantoman (additional keyboards) and my favorite musician, Mangoni !
(Note: The following will be revealed traces on cd brulè , if someone prefers to surprise, please skip!)
tracks? Following the 'intro (ceiling) we start with Ignudo among nudists, followed closely by Gargaroz (beautiful) and then turn on the classics with my cousins \u200b\u200b . Also in the wake of "Operation Nostalgia", we hear the notes of TVUMDB Pausetta to exchange few words (and usually blame the unknown with its howling is ruining the disc), and again to the rhythm of samba, with El Pube (this almost made me cry with laughter!). It leaves room for Friend Hooligan, played very well Mangoni that continuously rolls a ball into a door put on stage. Then, as Montale is known for being the birthplace of disco music , you Dance Medley, a blend of songs Pipppero , The Chanson, Disco and Born To Be Abraham . Here is a track quieter and acoustic (Fossi Figo ) and closing the cd Brule the famous Parco Sempione.
were then carried out lots of other songs, many of them on their new album (eh bé , Is the promotional tour!), But there have been touching moments, like when they heard the first chords of shutter or a change of tools that serves as a prelude to Oratorium . For the rest simply fantastic!
Positive notes: a lot. Since the ticket price, 16 euro, which is lower than the average of other similar performances. Moreover, they played for over an hour and a half (although that Elio playback, because it was impossible to play so well!).
Flying on the perfection of execution, which is widely recognized common ground (and only this is a good reason to go hear a concert):
-Beautiful piece of slap on the neck (!) In the Faso 'Intro My cousins \u200b\u200b .
-La Faso fingering on the keyboard of his six-string (do not lose the position, something beautiful to behold!)
-Faso solos on the keyboard of his six-string
-L 'accompaniment on the keyboard of his six Faso
-strings-Faso
His six-string-
hilarious moment during the execution of Suicide Surprise, when Mangoni (again!) has ignited a guitar on stage ...
-omit several jokes between songs and another. The cd-
Brule at the end of the concert.
The only flaw, if I may, is the fact that many of the songs 'historical', as serfs, Dear I love you, and Differential Box Puppet without figs have not found a place in the lineup. Too bad, because belonging because they are always very nice to sing, they took quite a bit ' healthy slap in Faso (which never hurts) ... But I assure you that the show is guaranteed the same!
